Real Money Blackjack Strategies
Everyone agrees that in order to play real money blackjack to win, it pays to stick to the blackjack basic strategy. This strategy is a series of moves based on cards that the player(s) and dealer have been dealt. Blackjack is a skill-based game - it can be won consistently with a combination of skill and luck. The best skill one can have as a blackjack tool is learning the basic strategy inside and out.
But most people who play blackjack according to the basic strategy discover that although they may come out ahead some nights, mostly what they do is stay even (unless Lady Luck is solidly in their corner). For some card players this is enough - they have a good time staying at the table for hours even if the profits aren't accumulating at a wild rate. For other gamblers, however, the idea is not just to have a good time playing blackjack the goal is also to win real money. So what these players do is combine the real money blackjack playing strategy with one of the blackjack betting systems.
Blackjack Betting Systems
A betting system without the basic strategy is a formula for disaster - basically, just a way to lose money. But a betting system with a good strategy can build up the coffers (with a dose of luck thrown in). Most betting systems are progressive betting systems and these can be divided into two kinds - positive and negative. In a nutshell, positive systems build on wins and negative systems build on losses.
Some betting systems - like the D'Alembert and the Martingale - have been around for a long time. In fact, some systems can be used for varous games. The D'Alembert for Baccarat, for example. You can read about them in books, articles and on the Internet. Some systems, however, are so "special" that in order to be privy to them, you have to pay money to read them. These are known as commercial systems. The Trioplay Blackjack Betting System is just such a system.

The Trioplay is a positive progressive betting system, which means that the player increases his bet when he wins and decreases (or goes back to the starting-point bet) when he loses. In order to learn the ins and outs of the Trioplay betting system, you will have to download the information from the Internet and pay 30 dollars to do so. Part of the mystique of Trioplay is that you have to promise not to give its secrets away to anyone else.
It is said that the Trioplay system is good for players with small bankrolls; that it is a relatively conservative system. But it is hard to imagine that, given the plethora of free information on the Net, including details of just about any progressive betting system one could imagine, it is worth paying $30 for the Trioplay system. There is very little chance that it is anything but a variation of a different system nor is it likely to have enough innovations or revelations to make it so attractive as to be worth its price tag. If you want to spice up the game of real money blackjack with a progressive betting system, more power to you, but go with a free one that is out there in the public domain. Spend your money at the tables, not on pricey "top-secret" commercial systems.
